NS Home Shopping Holds 'Garaetteok Day' Event to Celebrate Farmers' Day

Since 2016, NS Home Shopping has held the 'Garaetteok Day' event every year on Farmers' Day. This year, they plan to share sets of garaetteok made from Korean rice with employees and others. Along with the campaign to promote Korean rice consumption, they will deliver newly harvested rice to neighbors in need and share warmth through this event.
NS Home Shopping will conduct the 'Garaetteok Day' event and share garaetteok not only with employees but also with daycare centers and facilities protecting children in crisis, reflecting on the importance of Korean agricultural products and supporting farmers. They plan to purchase newly harvested rice worth 80 million KRW through the Rural-Urban Win-Win Cooperation Fund and deliver it to free meal facilities and social welfare institutions.
