KIPO Holds 'Jeonnam Intellectual Property Festival' Online
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] On the 7th, the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO) announced that it will hold the ‘2021 Jeonnam Intellectual Property Festival’ on the 8th at the Jeonnam Small and Medium Business Promotion Agency in Jeonnam Province, in collaboration with Jeonnam Province.
The festival will be held under the theme ‘Intellectual Property Leading the Digital Era’ and can be viewed online through KIPO’s official YouTube channel.
At the event, KIPO plans to conduct one-on-one video consultations between local prospective entrepreneurs and experts in intellectual property, finance, law, and taxation, as well as operate an ‘Intellectual Property Market’ that matches excellent intellectual property owned by institutions and companies in the Jeonnam region with prospective entrepreneurs and businesses.
In particular, during the festival, there will be a session for signing ‘Intellectual Property Technology Transfer Agreements’ where research institutions such as Mokpo National Maritime University and Chonnam National University transfer patented technologies to local companies like Jeongsu Marine and Eco Salt.
