On the 7th, Yoon stated on Facebook, "I will diligently learn from the patriotism, experience, and wisdom demonstrated by these three political seniors."
He said, "Even while moving busily, I couldn't stop thinking about last Friday's party convention," adding, "It was because of the one-team spirit shown by senior Hong Jun-pyo and the other two candidates for the great cause of regime change."
He continued, "Senior Hong Jun-pyo's brief message deeply moved my heart. It shone much brighter than my acceptance speech," emphasizing, "His gracious concession remarks with wonderful wit and the elder brother-like smile he showed to the people and party members are something I will never forget."
Yoon also explained, "The message from candidate Yoo Seung-min, who asked us to 'forget everything that happened during the primary and work together for party unity and regime change,' was equally touching. The words from candidate Won Hee-ryong, 'I will devote everything for regime change,' were also very reassuring," adding, "I realized anew how wonderful politics can be."
