Wanju-gun Selected as Travel Destination of the Month for November
Organized by Korea Tourism Organization and Hana Tour... Sale of Tourism Products
[Wanju=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Han-ho] Wanju-gun announced on the 4th that it has been selected as the November travel destination of the month in the ‘Monthly! 19 Tour’ hosted by the Korea Tourism Organization and Hana Tour.
‘Monthly! 19 Tour’ is a win-win cooperation project for revitalizing domestic travel to overcome COVID-19, jointly organized by the Korea Tourism Organization and Hana Tour.
Since last September, a ‘travel region of the month’ has been selected every month to introduce tourism information and travel products of the respective region.
Following Busan in September and Yeongwol-gun, Gangwon-do in October, Wanju-gun, Jeonbuk was selected in November, confirming its status as a healing travel destination attracting attention in the COVID-19 era.
With this selection, Hana Tour will sell travel products for Wanju’s representative tourist attractions.
They will introduce beautiful nature and experiential activities such as Daedunsan, a representative autumn tourist spot in Wanju, Soyang Oseong Hanok Village, and Wibong Mountain Fortress, and plan and organize travel products for sale.
The planned travel products can be found on the Hana Tour website.
The travel products are safe travel accommodation package products that families and couples can enjoy in small groups, including hotel accommodation, admission tickets to Awon Traditional House and Gallery, and meal vouchers for the Local Food Happiness Station. The first 100 customers will also receive a Jeonbuk Tour Pass Card that allows free use of major tourist sites.
In addition, day bus tour products have been launched that include discounts on Daedunsan Hotel, Daedunsan Cable Car, children’s experience facility Noltopia, paragliding experience tickets, and tours of Hwaamsa Temple, Mountain Lighthouse Art Museum, and BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan) photo shoot locations.
Hana Tour plans to hold a special surprise time sale event on Thursday the 11th from 1 p.m. on a first-come, first-served basis for the planned package products.
