Productivity Headquarters Hosts 'Online ESG Seminar' for Practitioners
Covering Various Industries Including Food, Steel, Automotive, Machinery, and Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] The Korea Productivity Center (Chairman An Wanki, hereinafter KPC) announced on the 4th that it will hold an 'Industry-specific ESG Online Seminar' for practitioners to support the strengthening of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) response capabilities.
The seminars will be held every other Wednesday afternoon from the energy and chemical sector seminar on the 3rd until January 26 next year. Seminars are scheduled for food, steel, and cosmetics in November; automobile, machinery, pharmaceutical manufacturing, electrical, electronics, semiconductors, and construction in December; followed by logistics, shipbuilding and marine, telecommunications, and finance sectors in January. The seminars will be conducted online, and participation is free of charge.
KPC has reorganized its ESG organization this year to support the strengthening of ESG public functions and is expanding the scope of ESG services. In addition to existing consulting and social contribution projects, it plans to operate various ESG education and training programs. It will provide industry-specific and target/job-specific ESG capability enhancement programs as well as customized ESG education services for individual companies.
Chairman An Wanki stated, "We will strive in various ways to help our companies establish ESG management, including sharing practical knowledge and supporting ESG for partner companies."
