Franchise Norae Joom Jeom Chairman Sent to Prosecution on Charges of Employee Assault
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Jung-yoon] The chairman of a famous franchise karaoke pub company, accused of assaulting an employee, has been handed over to the prosecution.
According to the police on the 4th, the Gangdong Police Station in Seoul sent Chairman Kim (54) of the franchise karaoke pub to the prosecution without detention on the 18th of last month on charges of assaulting a company employee.
Chairman Kim is accused of hitting employee A's head in November 2019 after seeing employees exchanging KakaoTalk messages in the office saying things like "There are frequent overtime and business trips" and "I want to leave work."
