Cheongam University Holds 'Hana Scholarship' Award Ceremony
[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Cheongam University announced on the 3rd that it held a scholarship award ceremony for the ‘Hana Scholarship’ of Hana Financial Sharing Foundation together with officials from Hana Bank Gwangyang Branch at the Cheongam Hall Acting President's Office.
The scholarship award ceremony was attended by Acting President Oh Mi-seong, Director of Admissions and Student Affairs Lee Seok-ju, Team Leader of Admissions and Student Affairs Choi Young-man, Gwangyang Branch Manager Gu Hee-yeol, Deputy General Manager Kim Yoon-hee of Hana Bank, and about 10 others including scholarship recipients.
The Hana Financial Sharing Foundation practices systematic and long-term social contribution activities that combine material support and acts of love, focusing on support for underprivileged neighbors and socially marginalized groups as well as humanitarian international relief activities. In particular, it selects and supports ‘Hana Scholars’ every year to assist talented individuals who pursue their dreams despite difficult circumstances.
At the scholarship award ceremony held that day, third-year students Lee *-hee from the Department of Physical Therapy and Kang *-hoon from the Department of Dental Hygiene were selected and each received a living support scholarship of 1 million won and a scholarship certificate.
Branch Manager Gu Hee-yeol said, “Being selected as a Hana Scholar will help you study, and I hope you achieve your dreams without giving up despite difficult circumstances,” adding, “I hope you will do your best to nurture talents for the local community and future society.”
