60s Woman Killed by Stabbing on Street... Suspect Attempts Suicide
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Ju Cheol-in] In Geoje, Gyeongnam, a man in his 70s killed a woman in her 60s and attempted an extreme act, currently receiving hospital treatment.
According to Geoje Police Station on the 2nd, at around 9:15 a.m. that day, A (76, male) wielded a weapon on a street in Jangpyeong-dong, Geoje City, killing a woman in her 60s.
Immediately after the crime, Mr. A ingested poison and set fire to his vehicle in an attempt at an extreme act. He was transported to the hospital following a passerby's report and is currently unconscious but reportedly in stable condition.
