Hack on UK Jewelry Company... Customer Information of Trump and Beckham Stolen
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] The British luxury jewelry company 'Graff' suffered a hacker attack, resulting in the leak of a customer list that included numerous celebrities such as former U.S. President Donald Trump and the Beckham couple.
According to The Times of the UK on the 1st, the attack carried out by the hacker group 'Conti' caused Graff to suffer a breach of customer information. Graff stated, "The document only contains a simple customer list, and in some limited cases, addresses are included," explaining that most customers were not significantly affected by this hacking incident.
According to the illegally leaked documents, the customer list included not only former President Trump and the Beckham couple but also famous actors Tom Hanks, Samuel L. Jackson, Alec Baldwin, and well-known broadcaster Oprah Winfrey. Also included were Mohammad bin Salman, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Prime Minister and Vice President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and ruler of Dubai.
The Mail on Sunday, which first reported the incident, stated that the leaked list included not only customer names but also invoices, receipts, and credit slips.

Graff said, "We received a hacking alert through our security system and quickly shut down the system," adding, "We will restart the system within a few days without permanent data loss."
