Baemin Offers Nationwide Specialty Dishes at Special Prices
Participation in Korea Sale Festa Sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Cheol-hyun] Woowa Brothers, operator of Baedal Minjok (hereafter Baemin), announced on the 1st that it will participate in the 'Korea Sale Festa' sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and launch a large-scale discount event.
The Korea Sale Festa, which runs until the 15th, is the largest shopping week in Korea involving local governments, distribution companies, and small and medium-sized merchants. It has been held annually since 2016 to stimulate consumption and revitalize the domestic economy.
Baemin will first hold a special sale offering up to 48% discounts on regional specialties and popular restaurant products in 'Jeon-guk Byeolmi,' a nationwide gourmet delivery service within the app. During the Korea Sale Festa period, fresh fruits, side dishes, meal kits, and processed foods sold on Jeon-guk Byeolmi will also be available at lower prices than usual. A 5,000 KRW discount coupon for Jeon-guk Byeolmi, usable on purchases over 15,000 KRW, will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.
In the live commerce 'Baemin Shopping Live,' a special broadcast will be held in collaboration with the Korea Sale Festa Promotion Committee and the Korea Franchise Industry Association to sell domestic franchise gift certificates and home meal replacements (HMR) at discounted prices. Participating brands include 7th Street Pizza, Pizza Etang, Halmeoni Garaetteokbokki, Saenghwal Chicken, Gopddeok Chiddeok, Ibaekjang Donkatsu, and The Venti. Additionally, HMR products launched by various brands such as Gorae Gamjatang, Attal, and Gopchang Paneun Cheongnyeondeul will be offered at reasonable prices.
