Chungnam Supports Discount Coupons for Local Accommodation Reservations
[Asia Economy (Hongseong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Chungnam Province announced that starting from the 1st, it will launch the 'Korea Accommodation Grand Sale (Regional Edition),' which offers discount benefits when booking and using local accommodations.
This project is jointly promoted by the province, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, and the Korea Tourism Organization to support the local tourism industry struggling due to COVID-19 and to aid the public's rest and healing.
The Korea Accommodation Grand Sale begins at 10 a.m. on the day. When booking accommodations through nine participating online travel agencies, individuals receive a discount coupon once per person.
The stay dates eligible for using the discount coupons are from the 9th to the 30th of this month, and when paying for accommodation products exceeding 70,000 KRW, a discount coupon worth 50,000 KRW can be applied.
After receiving the coupon, it must be used to book accommodations within the valid time (from 10 a.m. on the day to 7 a.m. the next day).
If not used within the time or if the reservation is canceled, the coupon will be automatically invalidated.
