NHN and Wemade Tree Join Hands for Collaboration in Gaming and Blockchain Businesses
[Asia Economy Reporter Kang Nahum] NHN announced on the 29th that it has signed a business agreement with blockchain company Wemade Tree to strengthen its game and blockchain businesses.
NHN plans to build a broad cooperative relationship utilizing various global IT services and content, including servicing its owned games and content on Wemade Tree’s proprietary blockchain platform WEMIX. Additionally, the two companies plan to continue collaboration across the blockchain business by leveraging their technological capabilities.
The main areas of collaboration include ▲ onboarding and service business partnerships for games and content on the WEMIX platform ▲ game development and related technical cooperation incorporating blockchain systems ▲ strategic cooperation on blockchain-based businesses and services.
NHN is focusing its business efforts to restore the reputation of Hangame, a leading web board game company, and plans to continuously release new global games such as Guns Up Mobile and Dragon Quest Keshi Keshi within this year.
Wemade Tree is servicing various blockchain games on WEMIX and recently achieved great global success by launching its parent company Wemade’s Mir4 Global on the WEMIX platform. A merger with its parent company is also forthcoming.
