According to the court on the 29th, Judge Shin Hyukjae of the Criminal Division 4 at the Seoul Central District Court will conduct Jang's first hearing on November 19th on charges including violation of the Road Traffic Act (refusal of breathalyzer test and unlicensed driving), obstruction of official duties, and injury.
Earlier, on the 18th of last month around 10:30 p.m., Jang was involved in a minor collision while driving a Mercedes-Benz vehicle at an intersection in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul. He was then accused of refusing the breathalyzer test and headbutting a police officer.

In a statement, Jang said, "I will accept the punishment for my wrongdoing," and added, "With a repentant heart, I will forgo the substantive hearing for the arrest warrant." He was previously indicted in June last year on charges including drunk driving and "driver substitution," receiving a sentence of 1 year and 6 months in prison with a 2-year probation. In April this year, he was also sent to the prosecution for assaulting a pedestrian in Busan. If Jang is sentenced to imprisonment without suspension or a heavier sentence for the current charges of refusal of breathalyzer test and unlicensed driving, the previously granted probation will be revoked.
