Mokpo Maritime Police Station (Chief Im Jae-su) announced on the 29th that at around 10:25 PM on the 28th, it seized Chinese fishing vessel A (50 tons, gillnet, 9 crew members) for fishing without submitting a change report for the details recorded on the fishing activity permit, 76 km west of Gageodo, Sinan-gun, Jeollanam-do.
Investigation revealed that fishing vessel A changed its engine output from 120 horsepower recorded on the fishing permit to 162 horsepower but did not submit a change report and fished in our waters.
