Gyeonggi-do Selects 61 Companies as 'Family-Friendly and Good Places to Work'
Benefits Support Including Preferential Interest Rates for Funding to Certified Companies
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Economic Science Promotion Agency announced on the 27th that they have selected 61 companies and public institutions within the province that have actively promoted work-life balance culture policies as "This Year's Gyeonggi Family-Friendly and Good Workplace Companies."
The "Gyeonggi Family-Friendly Good Workplace Certification" is a program that certifies companies within the province that exemplary operate childcare, health, and family support systems to help employees harmoniously balance work and family life.
In the certification application process held in May this year, 107 companies applied. After document screening and on-site inspections evaluating ▲family-friendly system operation status ▲CEO interest and willingness to implement ▲company stability ▲employee satisfaction, the certification committee selected 30 newly certified companies and 31 re-certified companies.
Certified companies receive a certificate, a certification plaque, and a certification signboard in the name of the Governor of Gyeonggi Province. Additionally, they enjoy 45 benefits such as preferential interest rates when receiving small and medium enterprise development funds and subsidies when introducing family-friendly systems.

The certification period for newly certified companies is three years, and they can maintain their status by obtaining re-certification thereafter.
