Gungneung Heritage Headquarters Prepares Performances, Exhibitions, and Events
The autumn foliage at the four major palaces?Gyeongbokgung, Changdeokgung, Changgyeonggung, Deoksugung?as well as Jongmyo Shrine and the Joseon Royal Tombs is expected to reach its peak from the 25th of this month until mid-next month. On the 22nd, the Cultural Heritage Administration’s Palace and Royal Tombs Division recommended Changdeokgung’s rear garden, the area around Chundangji Pond in Changgyeonggung, the route from Daehanmun to Junghwajeon in Deoksugung, Gwangneung in Namyangju, Taereung and Gangneung in Seoul, and Seooreung in Goyang as prime spots for autumn foliage. Various performances, exhibitions, and events have been organized to enjoy alongside the cultural experience.

At Changdeokgung, reenactment performances of the Yeon-gyeongdang Jinjak Ceremony will be held on the 4th and 5th of next month, and the Changdeokgung Pungnyu performances will take place from the 9th to the 12th. Deoksugung is hosting the exhibition "Garden of Imagination" until the 28th of next month, and the Donggureung Royal Tombs in Guri are running the World Heritage Stamp Tour Challenge until the 10th of next month.
