Sport climber Seo Chaehyun won the lead gold medal and bouldering silver medal at the 2018 Youth Asian Championships. She made her adult debut by ranking 2nd in the lead category at the 7th IFSC (International Federation of Sport Climbing) World Cup in 2019, and subsequently won four consecutive times from the 8th to the 11th competitions.
She also ranked 8th overall at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and won the gold medal in the lead category at the World Championships held last month in Moscow, Russia.
Female table tennis player Shin Yubin is a promising player of South Korea's women's table tennis, who won the national comprehensive table tennis championship at the age of 10 and was selected as the youngest member of the national reserve team, national team, and Olympic team.
Although she failed to win a medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, she made her name known worldwide in the table tennis community, and won a silver medal in the women's singles category at the Asian Championships held in Doha, Qatar last September, the first in 53 years. She also achieved a remarkable feat by winning the gold medal in the women's doubles event, partnering with Jeon Jihee.
Shinhan Financial Group already sponsors the national teams in these sports, and through this contract, plans to support the two athletes' participation in international competitions, training support, and the employment of dedicated trainers.
