[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Seo Young-seo] Jeonnam Yeongam Fire Station (Chief Park Hak-soon) announced on the 20th that it conducted CPR training for the Daycare Center Association at the Samho-eup Comprehensive Culture and Sports Center.
This training strictly followed COVID-19 prevention guidelines and focused on hands-on practice using mannequins. It included education on CPR and the use of automated external defibrillators (AED), the Heimlich maneuver for airway obstruction, and emergency treatment methods to strengthen responses to internal and external emergency situations.
To master these skills, the main training content included ▲ checking responsiveness ▲ calling 119 and requesting an AED ▲ 30 chest compressions ▲ 2 rescue breaths ▲ repeating chest compressions and rescue breaths ▲ foreign body removal for airway obstruction (Heimlich maneuver) ▲ theoretical education and practice on AED use.
