Ujeong Business Headquarters Donates 14,900 Stamps for Handwritten Letter Project Responding to Concerns
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bong-su] The Korea Post announced on the 20th that it has signed an agreement with the nonprofit organization Ondo Corporation and will donate a total of 14,900 commemorative stamps across 10 types.
This organization is a nonprofit public interest group based in Seoul that operates 'Ondo Mailboxes' in nine locations throughout Seoul, including the Stamp Museum, responding to people's concerns with handwritten letters. The donated stamps will be used to send reply letters, with 2,000 to 3,000 letters sent annually, expected to be used for dispatch over the next 4 to 5 years.
The donated stamps, issued in the first half of 2021, include various commemorative stamps such as ‘Our Satellite Cheollian,’ ‘Mysterious Animals of the Palaces,’ and ‘Seonmyeonhwa,’ rather than simple regular stamps.
