Government Recovers 327.9 Billion KRW of Public Funds in 3Q... Recovery Rate at 69.7%
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwangho Lee] The government recovered a total of 117.6 trillion won in public funds in the third quarter of this year. The cumulative recovery rate stands at around 69.7%.
On the 17th, the Financial Services Commission announced through the 'Status of Public Fund Management as of the Third Quarter of 2021' that out of 168.7 trillion won supported by public funds from November 1997 to the end of September this year, 117.6 trillion won had been recovered as of the end of September.
During the third quarter, the government recovered 16.5 billion won through interim dividends from Woori Financial Group.

The public fund recovery rate has recorded around 69% in recent years, rising from 67.8% at the end of 2016 to 68.5% at the end of 2017, 68.9% at the end of 2018, 69.2% at the end of 2019, 69.5% at the end of 2020, and 69.7% as of the end of September.
