IBK Industrial Bank Launches Special Savings Account with Up to 3% Interest if Altos Volleyball Team Wins

[Asia Economy Reporter Jin-ho Kim] IBK Industrial Bank announced on the 14th that it will launch a package product to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the founding of the Altos volleyball team and to wish for victory in the Dodram 2021-2022 V-League on the 15th.
First, the ‘IBK Altos Savings’ is a flexible installment savings product that offers preferential interest rates depending on the performance of the Altos volleyball team in the ‘Dodram 2021-2022 V-League’. The contract period is one year, with a maximum monthly deposit of 500,000 KRW, and it will be sold in a limited quantity of 50,000 accounts until the end of the year.
The basic interest rate of the product is 1.00% per annum, and the maximum interest rate including preferential rates up to 2.00% per annum is 3.00% per annum. The preferential interest rates include ▲0.1% per annum for issuing the ‘IBK Altos Card’ ▲0.1% per annum for not issuing a paper passbook ▲0.2% per annum for entering a cheering message for the Altos volleyball team upon new subscription, and up to an additional 1.6% per annum depending on the performance of the Altos volleyball team.
IBK also introduces the ‘IBK Altos Card’ (check card). It includes benefits such as a 3,000 KRW discount on Altos volleyball stadium admission tickets, ▲20% discount at coffee shops ▲20% discount on social commerce platforms (Coupang, TMON, WEMAKEPRICE) ▲4,000 KRW discount at movie theaters ▲20% discount at Outback, VIPS, Ashley, and Bulgogi Brothers.
In particular, a limited edition card designed with the autographs of seven main players including Kim Hee-jin and Kim Su-ji will be sold temporarily until March next year. Customers can choose and issue one card of their desired player.
Subscription for savings and cards is available at all branches nationwide and through the mobile banking app ‘i-ONE Bank’.
