Winia Dimchae Donates Home Appliances to 'Plastic Mill'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeong Hyunjin] Winia Dimchae announced on the 13th that it donated home appliances to the 'Plastic Mill,' which creates upcycled products from waste plastic.
The home appliances donated by Winia Dimchae, including washing machines, dryers, and air purifiers, will be used at the newly opened Plastic Mill in Seongsu-dong, Seongdong-gu, Seoul, and the resource circulation complex cultural space 'Green Workers' operated by No Plastic Sunday. These products are planned to be utilized for waste plastic processing, reproduction, as well as store operation and management. The integrated washer-dryer Winia Smart Package product will be used in the washing and drying processes necessary for reprocessing waste plastic.
The Plastic Mill, a resource circulation project, collects plastics that cannot be recycled from citizens and transforms them into reusable items such as tube squeezers. Winia Dimchae’s donation is part of its ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) management efforts to practice resource circulation and foster a culture of sustainability.
