Gangneung-si Intensifies Crackdown on 'Unregistered Pets'
Five Locations Including Parks and Walking Trails in the District Until the 30th
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Gangneung City will conduct an intensive crackdown on unregistered pets at five locations including parks and walking trails within the city until the 30th.
According to the city on the 12th, the target includes pet dogs aged two months or older and yard dogs kept for pet purposes in houses and quasi-houses.
Applications for animal registration can be made at local animal hospitals (12 locations) and animal sales businesses (5 locations), and changes to registration information can be reported at animal registration agencies or town, township, and neighborhood community service centers.

Pet owners who fail to register their animals will be fined up to 1 million won, and those who do not report changes to animal registration will be fined up to 500,000 won.
