GS25 will launch the first product on the 21st of this month, 'Cyworld Dark History Popcorn (1,500 won),' designed to be enjoyed while reminiscing about the past 'dark history' moments, often referred to as 'popcorn moments,' that anyone who used Cyworld might have. The product is developed as brown sugar-flavored popcorn, and the name was chosen to be fun and engaging.
Additionally, GS25 plans to sequentially release about 10 collaboration products related to Cyworld by the end of the year, including Acorn Ball Jelly, Mini Me Hot Pack, Mini Homepage Pepero, Acorns, Chestnut Milk, and more.
GS Retail will exclusively open a quick commerce service where users can access GS25 and GS The Fresh shopping channels after the launch of Cyworld. Cyworld users will be able to conveniently and quickly use products and services from GS Retail’s convenience stores and supermarkets by accessing the Cyworld shopping channel. Furthermore, GS Retail plans to introduce various services in the metaverse in collaboration with Cyworld, such as opening GS Retail-exclusive mini homepages and writing guestbook entries.
