According to the Busan Metropolitan Police Agency, at around 3:38 p.m. on the 8th, A (64, male) in his 60s damaged the electronic ankle bracelet he was wearing and escaped in Saha-gu.
The Ministry of Justice immediately requested cooperation from the Busan police. In 2018, A was paroled and was required to wear the electronic ankle bracelet until 2028.
The police mobilized available personnel, including local police and detectives, to begin tracking.
