It includes a multipurpose gymnasium, swimming pool, fitness center, an outdoor futsal field on the rooftop, and for the first time in Seongdong-gu's public sports facilities, a bowling alley with 8 lanes, allowing residents to enjoy various types of recreational sports.
Construction began in December last year and is currently 43% complete, progressing smoothly. The Seoul Forest Complex Culture and Sports Center is scheduled to be completed in March next year and will also include cultural and welfare service facilities such as daycare centers, elementary after-school care centers, and lifestyle culture centers, becoming a large-scale complex facility accessible to people of all ages.
The district has previously created safe school routes by relocating utility poles and is operating a 'visiting screening clinic' targeting construction sites this month for proactive COVID-19 testing, making every effort to ensure residents' disaster safety.
