40s Office Worker Arrested for Killing Girlfriend and Secretly Burying Her in a Mountain in Pohang
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Kim Yong-woo] A suspect who killed his girlfriend and secretly buried her body in a mountain in Guryongpo, Pohang-si, Gyeongbuk, has been arrested by the police.
The man in his 40s, known as an ordinary office worker, reportedly got into a fight with a woman he was close to like a friend, causing her death, and then concealed the crime by secretly burying the body.
The Pohang Nambu Police Station in Gyeongbuk announced on the 8th that they have arrested and are investigating Mr. A on charges of murder and concealment of a corpse for killing the woman and secretly burying her in the mountain.
Mr. A is accused of killing a woman in her 40s during an argument inside his car on the 29th of last month and then secretly burying her body.
The police received a report from the deceased woman’s family on the 5th that they could not contact her, and after tracking her phone location and conducting an investigation, they arrested Mr. A as a prime suspect and obtained a confession.
Mr. A, who is single, was known to have been close to the deceased woman like a friend.
On the 7th, the police found the woman’s body secretly buried by Mr. A in a mountain near the Blue Valley Industrial Complex in Sangjeong-ri, Guryongpo.
