Korea Commission on Human Rights: "57,000 Consultations on National Support Fund Payments via National Call"
[Sejong=Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission announced on the 8th that it received over 57,000 consultations through the National Call 110 counseling hotline during the first month of the COVID-19 coexistence national support fund payment.
Since the 7th of last month, the Commission has set up a dedicated call center window within the National Call 110 counseling hotline to handle inquiries related to the national support fund payment. To this end, 228 professional counselors were deployed.
Over the past month until the 7th, more than 57,000 consultations were conducted through the dedicated call center regarding support fund eligibility, requirements, payment recipients, and application methods. The plan is to continue additional consultations until the end of this month on topics such as support fund usage areas, eligible industries, and appeals.

Kwun Geun-sang, head of the Government Joint Civil Complaints Center at the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission, said, "As the government’s representative call center, National Call will do its best to handle civil complaints with nationwide consultation demand, such as the COVID-19 coexistence national support fund."
