Earlier, on the 27th of last month, the Yeongdeungpo Police Station in Seoul sent four personnel from Conrad Seoul Hotel and its food and beverage department to the prosecution on charges of negligence causing injury and violation of the Food Sanitation Act. The hotel is accused of providing detergent to a customer who requested sugar syrup at the buffet food and beverage corner at the end of last year. According to the police investigation, the hotel stored sauce containers and detergent bottles together, which led to this accident.
