Cooperation for Information and Technology Exchange Necessary for Safety Inspection and Management at Construction Sites
[Damyang=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] On the 7th, Jeonnam Damyang-gun announced that on the 6th, it signed a business agreement for safety inspections at construction sites with the Honam branch of the National Land Safety Management Agency (Director Seo Young-woon), an organization under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport.
In this agreement, Damyang-gun and the National Land Safety Management Agency agreed to actively cooperate in safety inspections at construction sites and the exchange of information and technology necessary for construction safety management.
According to the agreement, the National Land Safety Management Agency will conduct inspections for defective construction and safety at least once every six months for small and medium-sized construction projects commissioned by Damyang-gun over the next three years in consultation with the county. They will also provide advice and consulting necessary to ensure worker safety.
