According to the city on the 7th, the Seohang waterfront space creation is a project to return the aging port of the national trade port, from Seohang Pier to Pier 1 to Central Pier, back to the citizens.
The waterfront space includes a 2.3 km long seaside promenade equipped with a pedestrian bridge connecting to the Marine New City, five types of sports facilities, a water play area and ground fountains, an outdoor stage, resting areas, parking lots, and restrooms.
The three sports facilities to be opened this time?the tennis court, ground golf course, and gateball court?can be used through advance reservations on the Changwon City public facility reservation portal.
At night, the pedestrian bridge’s landscape lighting and streetlights installed along the 2.3 km section illuminate the Masan Bay area, allowing visitors to stroll along the city’s night sea.
