McDonald's Launches Halloween '1955 Smoky Double Bacon'
[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Korea McDonald's announced on the 7th that it will release the '1955 Smoky Double Bacon' as a limited edition for Halloween and introduce four collaborative coasters.
The 1955 Smoky Double Bacon is a menu item that adds crispy bacon and a special barbecue sauce to the '1955 Burger,' which contains the original burger taste and know-how from the year McDonald's was founded, 1955, delivering a rich meat flavor. The thick pure beef patties, packed with juice, combined with two savory bacon slices, offer a deep flavor that fills your mouth. Additionally, the intense smoky aroma of grilled onions, barbecue sauce, crispy iceberg lettuce, and tomato provide a full texture and satisfying fullness.
From the 14th to the 27th, McDonald's will randomly give one coaster made of cork material with a purchase of a 1955 Burger set or 1955 Smoky Double Bacon set. The coasters come in four designs featuring French fries, pumpkins, bats, and more, playfully capturing the Halloween mood and stimulating collectors' desires. They are perfect as a point item, offering a unique atmosphere and lively charm when used as a drink cup holder during home cafes or picnics.
To celebrate the Halloween season, McDonald's will also provide all menu purchases from the 14th to the 31st in Halloween special packaging, including beverage cups and shopping bags. The stores will be decorated inside and out with Halloween-themed designs to offer customers special memories. The Cheongdam DT branch, Goyang Samsong DT branch, and Busan Hwangnyeong DT branch will be wrapped entirely with large pumpkin characters, presenting a surprising transformation of the stores.

The price of the 1955 Smoky Double Bacon is 6,400 KRW for a single item, 7,900 KRW for a set, and 6,900 KRW for a set with McLunch applied. It will be sold as a limited edition at McDonald's stores nationwide until the 27th of this month.
