321 New COVID-19 Cases in Seoul by 6 PM on the 3rd... 65 More Than on the 2nd
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] From midnight to 6 p.m. on the 3rd, the number of new COVID-19 cases in Seoul was preliminarily counted at 321 over 18 hours.
According to Seoul City, this is 65 more than the 256 cases during the same time on the 2nd, and 150 fewer than the 471 cases a week earlier on the 26th. The total number of cases for the entire day was 736 on the 2nd and 778 on the 26th.
Cluster infections continue. There were 5 additional cases related to the Garak Market cluster in Songpa-gu, 2 cases at a market in Jung-gu, 1 case at a hospital in Gangnam-gu, and 1 case at a market in Gangseo-gu. Eight more cases were added from other cluster infections.
Patients under investigation for unknown infection routes accounted for 160 cases, making up half of the new confirmed cases.

Meanwhile, the cumulative number of COVID-19 cases in Seoul was preliminarily counted at 103,260. One additional death was reported during the 18 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 656.
