Guri-si, Gyeonggi Garden Culture Expo Held as 'Online Transition'
Homepage of the Exhibition Opens on the 8th... Offering Various Contents
[Asia Economy Reporter Ra Young-cheol] Guri City in Gyeonggi Province has decided to hold the '9th Gyeonggi Garden Culture Expo,' originally scheduled to be held at Jangja Lake Ecological Park from the 8th to the 24th, entirely online.
According to Guri City on the 1st, the decision to switch to an online event was made in consideration of COVID-19 quarantine measures, following the Prime Minister's request to reconsider non-urgent festivals and events, and in response to the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters' request to cancel, postpone, or cooperate in converting face-to-face festivals and events to online formats.
Accordingly, the city has completely canceled the offline event and plans to provide garden-related content under the theme "A Garden Dyed with Affection" through the expo website, which will open on the 8th.
