The Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office's special investigation team for the Daejang-dong development suspicion case (led by Deputy Chief Prosecutor Kim Tae-hoon) arrested former head Yoo at an emergency room of a hospital that morning. Yoo was scheduled to appear at the prosecution at 10 a.m. that day but had visited the emergency room early in the morning complaining of acute abdominal pain. The prosecution reportedly secured Yoo's custody immediately, fearing he might refuse to respond to the summons on the grounds of health issues. Yoo was then transferred to the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office in Seocho-gu, Seoul, where the investigation is ongoing.
