Jeon Yeo-ok: "If Yoon Seok-yeol's father is a pro-Japanese collaborator, then Moon Jae-in's father is undeniably a pro-Japanese collaborator"

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Soyoung] Former Saenuri Party (predecessor of the People Power Party) lawmaker Jeon Yeok sharply criticized a pro-government YouTube channel that claimed the father of Yoon Seok-yeol, the People Power Party's presidential candidate, was a 'pro-Japanese collaborator,' saying, "(If that's the case) then President Moon Jae-in's father is undoubtedly a pro-Japanese collaborator."
On the 30th, Jeon posted on her Facebook, "The rear door phrase on the Palisade car that became a hot topic today! 'We don't yield to JjokXri cars.' The moment I saw the article, I was truly worried. It seems to be suffering from the aftereffects of the 'anti-Japan campaign' that the Moon Jae-in administration pushed."
She added, "What’s even more shocking is the post by a person named Jung PD from the problematic 'Open Sympathy TV.' He claims that Yoon Seok-yeol's father is a 'pro-Japanese collaborator' because he received a 'Japanese Ministry of Education scholarship' and studied abroad on a government scholarship."
Earlier that day, Jung PD, the operator of the YouTube channel 'Open Sympathy TV,' raised an issue regarding Yoon Seok-yeol's father, former Yonsei University professor Yoon Ki-jung, stating, "He was South Korea's first Japanese Ministry of Education government scholarship student (recommended by the embassy). Because of that, he was constantly embroiled in pro-Japanese controversy."
Jeon argued, "President Moon Jae-in’s daughter, Dahye, studied abroad at her own expense at a university famous for its Japanese 'right-wing' affiliations. President Moon’s father served as the 'head of agriculture' in Heungnam during the Japanese colonial era," adding, "Heungnam had a fertilizer factory, and the position of 'head of agriculture' there was very influential. He is undoubtedly a pro-Japanese collaborator."

She continued, "Their sharp and chilling 'distortion' of labeling someone a pro-Japanese collaborator just because they studied abroad on a government scholarship is truly horrifying," and said, "They are already threatening, saying 'We will put you in jail,' 'We won’t leave you alone,' like gangsters. We must stop this terrible world. The answer is regime change."
