"Eco-Friendly Activities While Walking with Pets" Hyundai Department Store Hosts Contactless 'Pet Plogging' Event
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Hyundai Department Store announced that from the 30th of this month until the 31st of next month, it will hold a non-face-to-face eco-friendly activity with pets called "The Hyundai Plogging Heart for Dog."
The Hyundai Plogging (plogging: jogging while picking up trash) Heart for Dog is an eco-friendly activity that can be easily participated in by walking with pets anywhere nearby, such as parks and hiking trails, while picking up trash.
A Hyundai Department Store official said, "The feature of this event is linking the 'Heart for Dog' campaign, a support program for the health care of abandoned dogs conducted together with Animal Rights Action Kara since 2019, with the plogging challenge," adding, "This event was prepared based on the trend of sharing daily life with dogs on SNS due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic."
Customers who wish to participate in The Hyundai Plogging Heart for Dog can purchase tickets for "The Hyundai Plogging Heart for Dog" through the online reservation site 'Ticketlink' starting from 5 p.m. on the 30th. The ticket price is 30,000 KRW and is sold in a limited quantity to 1,000 people. A portion of the sales proceeds will be donated to Animal Rights Action Kara to be used for essential vaccinations for abandoned dogs.
Customers who purchase tickets will receive "The Hyundai Pet Plogging Kit" sequentially starting from the 13th of next month. The Hyundai Pet Plogging Kit consists of Adidas T-shirts, hats, a 10% discount coupon (usable only at The Hyundai Seoul store), plogging bags, eco-friendly wooden medals, and poop bags (dog waste bags).
Customers who receive the kit can voluntarily participate in pet plogging from the 16th to the 31st of next month. Participants who upload photos of the introduction of the "Pet Plogging Kit" or scenes of plogging activities with their dogs on their Instagram accounts with the hashtag (#TheHyundaiSeoulPlogging) will be provided with various benefits.
All participants will receive KakaoTalk emoticons designed using Hyundai Department Store’s mascot, Heindi, and among customers who upload posts on SNS, 10 people will be selected by lottery to receive 100,000 H Points from Hyundai Department Store Group’s integrated membership.
By visiting the customer service desk on the B1 floor of "The Hyundai Seoul" in Yeouido and verifying the uploaded SNS post, participants will receive two tickets to "BEYOND THE ROAD," Asia’s first 360-degree emotional experience exhibition held at ALT.1, a complex cultural space on the 6th floor of The Hyundai Seoul, two Cafe H coffee coupons, and the "Heindi Heart Edition" (Heindi doll + two types of dog toys).
