Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center Holds 'Smart Hospital' Workshop with Danish Delegation

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center held the '2021 HEALTH-TECH' workshop on the 28th at the Dongsan Hospital International Conference Room to promote smart hospital medical technology cooperation between the Embassy of Denmark in Korea and both countries.
According to Dongsan Medical Center on the 30th, this workshop was held following the MOU signed in April between Dongsan Medical Center, selected for the Ministry of Health and Welfare's 'Smart Hospital' pilot project, and the Danish government. It was organized to introduce the Danish government's 'Super Hospital' project and medical technology companies.
The workshop was attended by Keimyung University President Shin Il-hee, Dongsan Medical Center Director Lee Se-yeop, Dongsan Hospital Director Hwang Jae-seok, and Einar Jensen, Ambassador of Denmark to Korea.
Einar Jensen, Ambassador of Denmark to Korea, said, "Korea has a strong desire to promote the smart hospital project and possesses outstanding capabilities," adding, "I hope that both countries can cooperate to achieve successful results."
On the day, Eric Zilling, Deputy Director of the Health and Medical Policy Division, introduced detailed explanations of the 'Super Hospital Project' and healthcare issues promoted by Denmark through a video sent from Denmark. In addition, in-depth discussions on healthcare development were conducted through online video conferences with Danish local companies.
In his closing remarks, Lee Se-yeop, Director of Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center, said, "Keimyung University Dongsan Medical Center will contribute to medical advancement through continuous information exchange with the Danish Super Hospital Project and healthcare companies, and will further develop as a patient-centered smart hospital."

Meanwhile, Ambassador Jensen and the Danish delegation visited Korea on the 27th to increase cooperation between the two countries in the fields of smart hospitals and telemedicine. They toured the Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital Pharmacy Center and observed the smart hospital systems of Keimyung University Dongsan Hospital, including the smart autonomous delivery robot for pharmaceuticals and the TLA (Test Laboratory Automation) system.
