[Muan＝Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Oh Hwanju] Jeonnam Muan-gun (Governor Kim San) announced on the 30th that it is operating a health bus that visits villages directly from September to November to eliminate medical blind spots and promote the health of residents.

The visiting health bus is a service where a team of professionals including public health doctors, nurses, and exercise instructors visit 11 health clinics in villages to provide medical treatment, check blood pressure, blood sugar, body fat, etc., and conduct personalized one-on-one health consultations tailored to individuals.

In addition, a mobile bus capable of dental treatment provides oral examinations, fluoride application, and scaling, and educates simple health exercises and stretching that can be easily followed at home, offering integrated health services so that the elderly can practice healthy living even amid the COVID-19 situation.

This year, the first operation started on the 14th at Seongnae Health Clinic, and it is scheduled to operate according to the schedule targeting 190 residents at a total of 11 health clinics until November.

Governor Kim San said, “We are operating the visiting health bus to care for the health of the elderly and vulnerable groups who have difficulty managing their health due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic,” and added, “We will continue to do our best to provide medical services that satisfy all residents.”
