Goheung-gun Holds Major Business Report Meeting for Next Year
Focus on Successful Completion of the 'Minseon 7th Term' and Securing Growth Drivers
[Goheung=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Goheung County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Song Gwi-geun) announced on the 29th that it held the 2022 Major Business Report Meeting from the 23rd to the previous day, attended by heads of departments and team leaders.
This report meeting focused on reviewing next year's business plans in advance, checking the progress of major projects such as pledges and large-scale projects, in order to successfully conclude the '7th local government term' and secure mid- to long-term growth engines for the region.
To this end, each department reported a total of 546 business plans for next year, including 152 new projects, 75 pledge items, and 116 ongoing projects. Detailed inspections and in-depth discussions were conducted regarding the necessity of each project, the appropriateness of the implementation plan, budget securing measures, and expected effects.
The major new projects for next year discussed at the meeting include ▲ Establishment of a space enterprise specialized industrial complex ▲ Establishment of Goheung seafood processing complex ▲ Creation of a greenhouse in the Innovation Valley resident participation complex ▲ Discovery of income projects proposed by residents ▲ Tourism resource development in Namyang Udo area ▲ Creation of a premium four-lane national highway street forest ▲ Regeneration of Deukryang Bay clean fishing grounds ▲ Operation of Goheung Mall live commerce channel, among others.
Governor Song Gwi-geun said, “Please make efforts to secure budgets and prepare concrete execution plans to promptly complete major projects and strengthen growth engines necessary for county development.” He added, “Especially, actively promote projects closely linked to daily life for residents who are suffering from COVID-19.”
