T'way Air Signs Business Agreement to Sell Eco-Friendly Specialty Products from Jeju Island

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] T'way Air announced on the 29th that it will embark on activities to develop sales channels for Jeju specialty products through collaboration with Bapsang Sallim, an eco-friendly local brand organization in Jeju.
On the previous day, T'way Air signed a mutual business agreement at the Hansalim Damul Center located in Jeju, attended by Kim Seok-wan, Executive Director of Strategic Marketing at T'way Air, and Cho Sang-ho, CEO of Bapsang Sallim Agricultural Corporation.
Through this agreement, both organizations agreed to continue joint marketing efforts to enhance Jeju's environmental value, develop sales channels and promote consumption of local food, as well as promote social contribution activities and exchange business information.
Bapsang Sallim Agricultural Corporation is a subsidiary of Hansalim Jeju Consumer Cooperative, established to facilitate the smooth sale of agricultural and industrial products produced locally in Jeju, and is engaged in a regional circular local food business.
Following the implementation of the agreement, T'way Air plans to promote Bapsang Sallim's Jeju local food through in-flight magazines and SNS, and jointly plan and produce eco-friendly products to enable more consumers to purchase eco-friendly products. Additionally, promotion and sales will be conducted targeting T'way Air passengers arriving and departing, along with guidance for local food sales on the company’s website.
T'way Air intends to expand CSR activities and ESG initiatives linking eco-friendly products and farms in the future based on this agreement.

A T'way Air official stated, "Through this partnership, we plan to provide differentiated services that allow travel customers to easily and conveniently access eco-friendly products from the clean region of Jeju," adding, "We will connect this to various activities that can expand sales channels for Jeju farms and enhance satisfaction for customers visiting Jeju."
