Companies such as Nonghyup Hanaro Mart, Chorokmaeul, and Hello Nature (online distribution channels) will participate in the event. They will reduce the prices of certified livestock products through their own discounts and the application of agricultural and livestock product consumption promotion coupons. Events such as giveaways will also be held.
Nonghyup Hanaro Mart plans to hold discount events on animal welfare certified livestock products such as eggs, live chickens, and milk at stores nationwide. Live chickens and milk will be discounted by 20%, and eggs will be discounted by 10% up to a limit of 10,000 KRW per person. A special sales booth of about 25 pyeong will be set up in the Yangjae branch in Seoul to promote the certification system, and a 20% discount will be applied by using agricultural and livestock product consumption promotion coupons on 26 certified livestock product items.
Chorokmaeul will provide an additional 10% discount on top of the 20% discount with agricultural and livestock product consumption promotion coupons for certified livestock products, totaling a 30% discount. Certified livestock product corners will be installed in 23 directly managed stores. Discount benefits will also be offered on the online shopping mall. Hello Nature plans to conduct a 30% discount event by adding its own 10% discount to the 20% discount supported by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs budget for certified livestock products.
