Advanced Security Industry Gathers in One Place... '3rd International Security Industry Expo' Held
October 20-22 at Incheon Songdo Convensia
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] The National Police Agency announced on the 28th that it will jointly hold the "3rd International Police Industry Expo (Korea Police world Expo 2021)" with Incheon Metropolitan City for three days from October 20 to 22 at Songdo Convensia in Incheon.
Now in its third year, the International Police Industry Expo has been recognized as an opportunity to confirm the potential for promoting the domestic police industry, with participation from over 140 domestic and international companies and more than 16,700 visitors.
This expo, organized with the aim of establishing a domestic police industry foundation and globally spreading advanced police systems through the Korean Wave of policing, is expected to be a festival where visitors can experience the advanced systems and equipment of the Korean police all in one place.
The exhibition halls are composed of ▲ Police Mobile Equipment & Drone Hall ▲ Police Personal Equipment Hall ▲ Police Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Hall ▲ Crime Prevention Equipment & System Hall ▲ Crime Investigation & Forensic Equipment Hall ▲ Traffic Equipment & System Hall ▲ Special Hall. The Special Hall will exhibit advanced technologies protecting socially vulnerable groups, such as precise location measurement technology for missing persons and identity verification technology for missing persons.
During the expo, various events will be held, including the International CSI Conference with participation from global forensic experts and an export consultation meeting attended by overseas buyers. In particular, export consultation meetings will be held by inviting police delegations at the director-general level from various countries, and export consultations targeting private buyers will be conducted online simultaneously to support turning these into tangible business outcomes.

A National Police Agency official emphasized, "Last year's expo was held online, which somewhat limited the practical promotion of the police industry. However, this year, by holding it both online and offline, we will promote the excellence of the 'K-Police Industry' and actively develop export channels for domestic companies."
