Suncheon National University Video Design Department Student Team Wins 'Grand Prize' in Yongbong Fashion Street Video Contest

View original image[Suncheon=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Hyung-kwon] Suncheon National University (President Ko Young-jin) announced on the 27th that the “Namdo Matjip” team, consisting of second-year students Lee Ji-hyun, Jeong Eun-song, Nam Ga-eun, and Kim So-woon from the Department of Video Design, won the grand prize in the “Yongbong Fashion Street Video Contest.”
This contest was hosted by the Yongbong Fashion Street Cultural Tourism Market Development Project Group to revitalize the street by attracting additional middle-aged and young customers through video promotion, and to inform the public about various festivals and events held on the street.
The Namdo Matjip team, composed of Lee Ji-hyun and three others from Suncheon National University’s Department of Video Design, created a video under the theme “Street of Dreams,” depicting a visit to Yongbong Fashion Street in a dream, winning the prestigious grand prize along with a certificate and a prize of 500,000 won.

Team leader Lee Ji-hyun said, “Our department regularly operates a curriculum based on various projects and video production practice to be used as a portfolio after graduation, and actively supports participation in contests, which motivated us to form a team and challenge this contest. Through technical discussions necessary for video production with team members, we developed teamwork and gained experience beyond school classes, which helped us grow significantly. I am very happy that good results followed,” expressing her award acceptance remarks.
