Gyeonggi-do Strengthens Public Bus Campaign to Prevent Abuse of Stray Cats
Emphasizing Punishment to Encourage Reduction of Abuse Acts
[Asia Economy Reporter La Young-cheol] Gyeonggi Province will strengthen its campaign to prevent abuse of stray cats using public buses within the province starting this month.
On the 27th, the province announced plans to attach promotional materials with the phrase "Abuse of stray cats is a crime" on the exterior of 50 Gyeonggi public buses operating throughout the metropolitan area.
The public buses operate on 50 routes across 13 cities and counties within the province, including Namyangju, Gimpo, Paju, and Suwon.
These vehicles will run not only within the province but also through major urban centers in Seoul such as Gangnam Station and Yangjae Station, aiming to widely inform metropolitan residents about this message.
