"Due to Wine Popularity," Emart24 Launches Unique Related Products Like Jelly and Jerky
Wine-scented Jelly Created in Collaboration with Villa M
Introducing Low-temperature Aged Domestic Beef Jerky
[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Emart24 announced on the 27th that it will be the first in the distribution industry to launch wine concept jelly as the popularity of wine increases.
Emart24 collaborated with Ayoung FBC's wine brand 'Villa M' to develop a jelly product that allows consumers to enjoy two scents: 'Villa M Bianco' made from the Moscato variety and 'Villa M Rosso' made from the Brachetto variety. The jelly is infused with the aroma of Villa M wine but contains no alcohol.
The green jelly offers the sparkling wine flavor of Villa M Bianco, while the purple jelly provides the red wine taste of Villa M Rosso. The price is 1,500 won. Villa M wine-scented jelly will also have a 2+1 promotion throughout October.
As a perfect pairing with wine, the 'Premium Pure Korean Beef Jerky' was also launched on the 27th. Emart24's 'Premium Pure Korean Beef Jerky' uses domestically sourced beef aged at low temperatures to bring out the natural, savory flavor of jerky with every chew. The price is 4,900 won. Emart24 explained, "Targeting wine customers, the product packaging includes wine images and the phrase 'Enjoy with wine'." A 1+1 promotion will also be held throughout October.
Emart24 cited the increase in wine sales and the significant growth in sales of snack products as reasons for introducing wine-related products. From January to September 23 this year, jerky sales increased by 51% compared to the same period last year, while European dried meats such as jamon, salchichon, and salami rose by 43%, cheese by 36%, and olives by 27%.
