Martial Arts, Recruiting Participants for 'Export Hot Item' Contest Until the 3rd of Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Su-yeon Woo] The Korea International Trade Association announced on the 27th that it is recruiting participants for the '2021 Export Hot Item Contest' linked with specialized trading companies until November 3.
Students participating in the contest will have the opportunity to discover excellent products from domestic small and medium-sized enterprises and propose their export to specialized trading companies such as Lotte Mart, GS Global, and Hyundai Home Shopping. Any university (graduate) student can apply, and high school students can also apply through a special screening.
A total of 10 teams that discover and propose products with high export potential will be supported to proceed to actual export through additional consultations with specialized trading companies and SMEs, along with prizes. The final evaluation and awards ceremony will be held on November 19, selecting 1 grand prize team (2 million KRW), 2 excellence award teams (1 million KRW each), 2 merit award teams (500,000 KRW each), and 5 encouragement award teams (300,000 KRW each).
