Ha uploaded a video titled "Moments More Frustrating Than (D.P.) by Former Riot Police Ha Seok-jin" on his YouTube channel. In the video, Ha reviews the Netflix drama "D.P." and reveals the injustices he faced during his military life.
Ha said, "I was the 2544th class of operational riot police (combat police)," and added, "My father told me to join the military if I was going to study like this, so I enlisted on October 23, 2001, or around that date."
Looking over his military journal, Ha recalled, "I used to think of myself as a human weapon, but now I see I was just a college student back then."
Watching a scene from D.P. where trainees are being punished, Ha said, "After lining up inside the unit, they told us to 'pull down your pants,' so we all took them off. Even now, I don't know what they were trying to check. It was an utterly unreasonable demand on a personal level."

(Later) that puppy had puppies of his own." He added, "Among the seniors, there was a very scary, devil-like character who would gather us at dawn like Sergeant Hwang from D.P., and that person loved the dog."
He continued, "When the puppy refused to drink milk, the four youngest, including me, were called over," and said, "That senior suddenly told us to take off our upper clothes and then said to try feeding the puppy from our breasts. He dropped milk on our chests and used us like tools."
He said, "I thought the puppy wouldn't bite anyone else's breast, so naturally, I thought it wouldn't bite mine either, but it did," and added, "I have the sad memory of nursing the puppy in the guard post."
Ha also revealed an incident where he was beaten in the military for not recognizing official vehicles. He said, "We had to distinguish between official vehicles and civilian cars, so we had to memorize the license plates of frequently visiting staff. Sometimes, when new soldiers failed to recognize the staff, some employees would call a senior to give them a lesson," and added, "Then we would be dragged away and beaten. I still have scars on my legs from that time."
