KT to Advance Payment of 254.2 Billion KRW to Partners Ahead of Chuseok
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] KT Group announced on the 16th that it will make early payments of 254.2 billion KRW in delivery payments to partner companies by the 17th, ahead of the Chuseok holiday.
Six affiliates including KT Alpha, KT DS, KT SAT, KT Commerce, KT Engineering, and Initech will also participate in this early payment campaign with approximately 54.7 billion KRW. KT will make early payments of 63 billion KRW to small and medium-sized partners and a total of 136.5 billion KRW to nationwide agencies, advancing the scheduled payment date by up to 15 days to pay before the Chuseok holiday.
Additionally, KT is collaborating with the Small and Medium Business Corporation to participate in the Tomorrow Filling Deduction program, which encourages long-term employment of non-face-to-face research and development (R&D) personnel working in small and venture companies and attracts excellent talent by supporting a corporate burden of 240,000 KRW per person monthly for two years. Currently, 21 people from six companies are supported, and the plan is to additionally support 30 core developers in the ABC field within the year.
