According to GS Supermarket, sales in the frozen dessert category increased by 35.4% compared to the same period last year as of the 13th. The representative product, Strawberry Ssok Milk Chapssaltteok, ranked first in the frozen dessert category upon its release, and Tiramisu Ssok Chapssaltteok also ranked fifth.
The main purchasing group is women in their 30s and 40s, accounting for more than 60% of all customers. Customers in their 50s accounted for 19%, which is analyzed as purchases made while shopping with their children who are familiar with social networking services (SNS).
